Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.3.4.1.2 - Outline the moral lessons from the ministry of the various leaders.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Outline at least four moral lessons drawn from the ministries of Jesus Christ, Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and traditional religious leaders in Ghana.
Explain how obedience and commitment are demonstrated in the ministries of the religious leaders studied.
Dramatise a short scripture or traditional story that portrays a moral lesson such as humility, patience, or sacrifice.
Relate one moral lesson from each of the three religious leaders to a situation in their own daily life at home or school.
Work respectfully in groups, showing trust and collaboration, while discussing the moral values taught by the different religious leaders.

Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)

- Put learners in groups to identify the significant roles by the religious leaders in their ministries: obedience; commitment; patience, leadership, sacrifice etc.
- In groups, let learners dramatise portions of the scripture that depict moral lessons, e.g. submissiveness, humility, loyalty, etc.
