By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least four features of a rural settlement from pictures and descriptions.
- Explain why rural settlements have small populations and few buildings.
- Compare the features of rural settlements with those of urban settlements using a simple table.
- Describe the main economic activities carried out in rural settlements in Ghana.
- Draw a simple picture of a rural settlement showing at least three of its features.
