Indicator: B5.4.2.1.2 - Identify some of the health facilities and housing projects in the colonial period.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least three health facilities built during the colonial period, including Korle Bu Hospital (1923).
- Describe the location and purpose of Korle Bu Hospital, Kumasi Hospital, and Takoradi Hospital.
- Identify at least two housing projects or types of housing developed during the colonial period.
- Explain in simple terms why these health facilities and housing projects were important to people living at that time.
- Use pictures or descriptions to match colonial-era health facilities to their locations in Ghana.
