Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.4.7.3.1 - Identifier et associer les noms de professions et métiers à leurs dessins
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read and pronounce correctly the names of at least eight professions and trades in French (le médecin, le maître/la maîtresse, le fermier, le pêcheur, le vendeur, le tailleur, le conducteur, la couturière).
- Match each profession or trade name to its corresponding drawing or picture when presented in a table or on flashcards.
- Answer simple written questions such as “Qui est-ce?” and “Que fait-il?” by identifying the correct profession from a picture.
- Create a simple two-column matching table pairing profession names with drawings.
- Use the sentence frame “C’est un… / C’est une…” to name the profession shown in a picture.
