By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Ask the question “Quelle est la profession de…?” and “Quel métier exerce…?” about family members, using correct French pronunciation and intonation.
Respond accurately to questions about family members’ professions using the structures “Il est…” or “Elle est…”
Substitute family member vocabulary (père, mère, sœur, frère, tante, oncle) correctly in question and answer patterns.
Exchange information about at least three different family members’ professions or trades in a short dialogue with a partner.
Identify at least five profession vocabulary words from the previous listening lesson (Week 7) when they hear them in new questions and answers.
