Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.4.5.2.2 - Présenter au téléphone des membres de sa famille à un(e) camarade de classe, un(e) ami(e), etc.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name family members (père, mère, frère, sœur, grand-père, grand-mère) in French during a telephone conversation.
- Use the phrase “Je te présente” (I am introducing to you) correctly when introducing a family member to a friend on the phone.
- Ask and answer the question “C’est qui?” (Who is it?) and “Qui est à l’appareil?” (Who is speaking?) in a simulated phone call.
- Role-play a short telephone conversation in which they introduce at least two family members to a classmate, using correct greetings and farewells.
- Respond appropriately when someone introduces a family member to them on the phone, using phrases like “Enchanté(e)” (Pleased to meet you).
