Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.4.4.2.2 - Réciter des poèmes ou chanter des chansons sur les saisons

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Recall the names of the four seasons in French (le printemps, l’été, l’automne, l’hiver) and the months associated with each season.
Recite a short poem or sing a song about the seasons in French with correct pronunciation and rhythm.
Identify the season in which a given month falls by answering simple questions such as “Quelle saison est-ce ?”
Perform a simple chant or poem about the seasons in pairs or small groups, using gestures to show meaning.
Respond to teacher questions about seasons after the recitation, using phrases like “C’est l’été” or “En septembre, c’est l’automne.”
