Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.4.4.2.1 - Poser et répondre à des questions sur les saisons

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Name the four seasons in French (la saison des pluies, la saison sèche, l’harmattan, and les saisons européennes: l’hiver, le printemps, l’été, l’automne) and state which months belong to each.
Ask the question “Dans quels mois y a-t-il… ?” to inquire about a season’s months.
Respond accurately to questions about seasons using sentence frames such as “Il y a… en…” and “La saison… est…”.
Match Ghanaian months to the appropriate local seasons (pluies, sèche, harmattan) in a short oral practice.
Produce a short spoken exchange (question and answer) about seasons with a partner, using correct pronunciation and structure.
