Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.3.2.2.1 - Poser et répondre à des questions sur les goûts, les préférences

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the question pattern “Quel … n’aimes-tu pas ?” and “Pourquoi … ?” when heard or read aloud.
Respond negatively to questions about preferences using “Je n’aime pas …” with correct noun agreement for common fruits, school subjects and activities.
Ask a classmate what they do not like using the question forms “Quel fruit n’aimes-tu pas ?” and “Tu n’aimes pas … ?”.
Give a brief reason for a dislike using “C’est trop …” (e.g. C’est trop doux, C’est trop difficile).
Distinguish between “Je n’aime pas” (I do not like) and “Je déteste” (I hate), and use “mais” to contrast likes and dislikes in a single sentence.
