Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.2.2.3.1 - Lire et comprendre des affiches, annonces, sur l’environnement de l’école et dire ce qui se passe.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read simple French posters and announcements about the school environment and identify their main message.
  2. Explain in simple French sentences what is happening or what is being asked based on a school poster or announcement.
  3. Recognise and interpret common action words (protéger, respecter, garder, nettoyer, ranger) found on school posters.
  4. Match short French announcements to the correct situation or place in the school (library, playground, classroom, dining hall).
  5. Respond orally to comprehension questions about a poster or announcement using short, complete sentences.
