Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.5.4.1 - Dessiner l’arbre généalogique de sa famille et donner les liens de parenté et les professions
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Draw a simple family tree (arbre généalogique) naming at least five family members in French.
- Label each family member with the correct kinship term (le père, la mère, le frère, la sœur, le grand-père, la grand-mère, l’oncle, la tante).
- State at least one profession for each family member on the tree using the structure “Il/Elle est + profession.”
- Write three short sentences that show the relationship between family members, for example “M. Kwame est le père d’Ama.”
- Present their completed family tree orally to a partner using complete French sentences.
