Indicator: B5.1.1.2.1 - Saluer et répondre oralement aux salutations et respecter le code et les valeurs sociales

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Greet someone appropriately using “Bonjour” or “Bonsoir” depending on the time of day, and respond correctly when greeted.
Ask “Comment tu vas ?” or “Comment allez-vous ?” to enquire about someone’s well-being, choosing the correct form based on who they are speaking to.
Respond to greetings with “Je vais bien, merci” or “Ça va bien, merci” and politely return the question using “et toi ?” or “et vous ?”.
Use respectful forms of address such as “madame”, “monsieur” and “maîtresse” when greeting adults, teachers and elders.
Apply the social code of greeting in short role-plays, including shaking hands, smiling and waiting for the other person to respond before continuing the conversation.
