By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify adverbs of manner in given sentences and passages.
Explain that adverbs of manner tell us how an action is performed and modify verbs.
Form adverbs of manner by adding “ly” to common adjectives (e.g., slow to slowly, quick to quickly).
Use a variety of adverbs of manner correctly in their own sentences and short paragraphs.
Present their written work to a partner or the class, giving and receiving feedback on the use of adverbs of manner.
