By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the subject and the verb in simple sentences correctly.
State the rule that a singular subject takes a singular verb and a plural subject takes a plural verb.
Complete sentences by choosing the correct verb form that agrees with the subject.
Complete sentences by supplying the correct subject that matches the verb.
Write three original sentences demonstrating correct subject-verb agreement.
