By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the subject and the verb in simple sentences correctly.
- State the rule that a singular subject takes a singular verb and a plural subject takes a plural verb.
- Complete sentences by choosing the correct verb form that agrees with the subject.
- Complete sentences by supplying the correct subject that matches the verb.
- Write three original sentences demonstrating correct subject-verb agreement.
