Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.3.2.1.2 - Identify and use quantifiers to show qualities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define quantifiers and explain how they show quantity or amount in a sentence.
- Identify cardinal numerals, ordinal numerals, and quantifiers such as “a few,” “a little,” “both,” “each,” “every,” “another,” “other,” “fewer,” and “less” in given sentences and texts.
- Classify quantifiers into their types: numerals (cardinal and ordinal), and quantity words (some, few, little, both, each, every, another, other, fewer, less).
- Use quantifiers correctly in sentences to show the quantity or quality of nouns.
- Explain the meaning of sentences containing quantifiers by pointing out what quantity is being described.

With examples help learners to identify them. e.g. i. Numerals (cardinals - one, two, three); ii. Ordinals (first, second, third); iii. Some few/little etc; iv. No/both, all, each/every. - Help learners to use the quantifiers in sentences.
