Indicator: B5.3.1.1.4 - Identify and use abstract nouns to refer to concepts and ideas
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define an abstract noun as a noun that names something which cannot be touched, seen or felt.
- Distinguish between concrete nouns and abstract nouns in a given list of words.
- Identify abstract nouns in a short passage and separate them from concrete nouns.
- Use at least five abstract nouns correctly in their own sentences.
- Write a short paragraph of three to four sentences that includes both concrete and abstract nouns.

They include ghost, beauty, holiness, air, etc. - Provide a passage with concrete and abstract nouns and let learners identify each category. - Have learners use given concrete and abstract nouns in sentences.
