Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.10.3.6 - Elaborate on points using concrete examples
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify concrete examples in a short spoken presentation and explain how the example supports the main point.
- Add at least two concrete examples to a given main point during a group discussion.
- Present a short talk of 3 to 4 sentences in which they make one main point and support it with at least one concrete example, speaking audibly and clearly.
- Give helpful feedback to a classmate on whether their examples were concrete and relevant to their point.
- Distinguish between a vague statement and a well-supported statement with concrete examples.
