Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
- Select an appropriate story to be read in class. - Have learners read the story and re-tell it to the class. - Work together with learners to identify the events in the story and link them sequentially by identifying cause and effect. - Learners in their groups choose stories and identify the causes and effects of events. Let learners present their work as the rest listen to them.
