By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define the Internet of Things (IoT) in their own words as a network of everyday objects connected to the internet.
Explain the main purpose of IoT, which is to let devices collect, share, and act on data without human help.
Describe how IoT makes everyday tasks easier, faster, or safer using at least two examples.
Work in groups to discuss and present one example of IoT and explain its purpose to the class.
Distinguish between a regular device and an IoT device by explaining what makes the IoT device “smart.”
