Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.6.5.1.1 - Identify and describe forms in a web page.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three different types of form controls (text fields, dropdown boxes, combo boxes) when shown a web page or a printed screenshot of one.
- Describe the purpose of a form in everyday language, using examples like registration pages, search boxes, and feedback forms.
- Match each form control (text field, dropdown box, combo box, radio button, checkbox) to its correct name and function.
- Locate and point out the various parts of a form on a sample web page, including the submit button and the input areas.
- Explain the difference between a dropdown box and a combo box in simple terms.
