Learning Objectives

Indicator: B5.6.4.1.3 - Demonstrate how to handle search results.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the different parts of a search results page, including the title, link (URL), and snippet.
Distinguish between relevant and irrelevant search results based on the keywords used.
Apply at least two strategies to refine search results, such as changing keywords or adding more words.
Demonstrate how to open a search result in a new tab and navigate back to the results page.
Practise safe handling of results by recognising and avoiding suspicious or unfamiliar links.
