Indicator: B5.6.1.1.3 - Explain what the Internet is.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define the Internet in their own words as a network of networks.
  2. Describe how computers around the world are connected to form the Internet.
  3. Give at least three examples of Internet communication tools they have used or know about.
  4. Draw a simple diagram showing how two or more local networks connect to form the Internet.
  5. Explain the difference between a single network (covered in Week 6) and the Internet.
