Indicator: B5.6.1.1.3 - Explain what the Internet is.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define the Internet in their own words as a network of networks.
- Describe how computers around the world are connected to form the Internet.
- Give at least three examples of Internet communication tools they have used or know about.
- Draw a simple diagram showing how two or more local networks connect to form the Internet.
- Explain the difference between a single network (covered in Week 6) and the Internet.
