Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.5.1.2.3 - Learners get familiar with the interface of MS-Excel
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and name the main parts of the MS-Excel interface, including the Title Bar, Ribbon, Tabs, Formula Bar, Name Box, and Worksheet Area.
- Demonstrate how to launch MS-Excel on a computer or gadget using at least two different methods.
- Locate and switch between the different Tabs (Home, Insert, Page Layout, etc.) on the Ribbon and describe what each Tab is used for.
- Type text into a cell and display it in MS-Excel, then edit the text as required.
- Use the File tab to save a workbook with an appropriate name and reopen it.
