Indicator: B5.1.3.1.9 - Make simple tables and diagrams from the collected data.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the parts of a simple table (rows, columns, headings) and state why tables are useful for organising data.
Transfer collected data from a list or tally into a simple table with correct headings.
Draw a simple bar diagram (bar chart) from data presented in a table.
Draw a simple pictogram (picture diagram) using symbols to represent collected data.
Interpret a simple table and diagram by reading and comparing values correctly.

Bring tools or pictures of the tools in a box or container and ask learners to select tools for collecting data out of the box or container. Alternatively, ask learners to bring tools for collecting data for a class discussion.
