Learning Objectives
Indicator: B5.1.2.1.5 - Moving, copying and pasting a file or icon into and from a folder on the desktop
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain the difference between moving a file and copying a file, giving one example of when each would be useful.
- Demonstrate how to select a file or icon on the desktop using a single click and a right click.
- Perform the steps to copy and paste a file or icon from the desktop into a folder.
- Perform the steps to cut (move) and paste a file or icon from a folder back to the desktop.
- Create a new folder on the desktop, name it, and organise files into it by copying and pasting.
