- Revise common and proper nouns. - Write sentences containing abstract nouns on the board. - Have learners take turns to read them and identify the nouns. - Explain abstract nouns as names of things that cannot be seen, felt, nor touched. e.g. air, beauty, peace - Have learners give examples of abstract nouns and write them on the board. - Have learners identify concrete and abstract nouns from paragraphs/passages. - Let them use these abstract nouns in their own sentences.
