Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
- Reverse the meaning of the terms using examples. - Have learners play games (e.g. Synonym Tree Game) to reinforce their knowledge of antonyms and synonyms. - Ask learners to find synonyms and antonyms of words made from context to build on their vocabulary. - Learners may match words with their synonyms/antonyms.
