Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)

- Model making a request to learners.
- Have learners work in groups to write three tasks they plan to do and need help with, e.g. do homework, carry the table, etc.
- Learners then go around the class making requests to find classmates who are free to help them with their three tasks,
e.g. "Can you please help me do my homework this afternoon?". If a learner is free, they accept the request. But if s/he is not free, they decline the request.
