Learners to
- observe and document daily occurrences (e.g. news on conflicts, road crashes, child abuse, diseases, floods, energy efficiency);
- identify how to protect the environment (e.g. by safe use of the roads by pedestrians, motor bike riders, drivers and passengers; prevention of communicable diseases and using energy efficiency gadgets);
- find ways to manage energy resources at home, in school and in the community;
- discuss topical issues of involving plastic waste, conflict, illegal migration, human trafficking, diseases, rising temperatures, drowning, road safety, etc. in other African countries and the rest of the world.
