Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
Learners grip a bat/paddle with both hands. They stand with the foot opposite the throwing hand slightly forward. Learners swing the bat/paddle upward and backward. Learners swing the bat/paddle fast to strike a stationary balloon from down and upward with a follow through (continuous movement of the hand at direction of object movement after striking). Organise a table tennis game for learners to experience the skill in real-life situation. End the lesson with cool down.
