Indicator: B2.5.4.1.1 - Use the simple present tense to express habitual actions (simple truths, interest, feelings and opinions)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the simple present tense in given sentences and explain what it shows.
- Use the simple present tense to talk about things they do every day or often.
- Use the simple present tense to state simple truths, for example, facts about nature and everyday life.
- Use the simple present tense to express their interests, feelings and opinions about people and things.
- Apply the simple present tense correctly in short written sentences and small group discussions.
