By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify names of particular places and days of the week in a given text.
- Explain why certain words in a sentence begin with capital letters, specifically names of places and days of the week.
- Compare the initial letters of names of places and days of the week with other common names and state the difference.
- Rewrite a given text, correcting the capital letters for names of particular places and days of the week.
- Write at least three sentences of their own that correctly use capital letters for names of places and days of the week.
