Learning Objectives

Indicator: B2.4.7.2.1 - Re-arrange jumbled sentences logically

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the beginning, middle and end of a simple story told by the teacher.
  2. Re-arrange a set of 4 to 5 jumbled sentences into a logical order to form a short story.
  3. Use time markers such as “first”, “then”, “next” and “finally” to justify the order of sentences in a story.
  4. Retell a familiar story in the correct sequence, both orally and in writing.
  5. Work collaboratively in pairs to check and compare the order of sentences with a partner.
