Indicator: B2.2.7.2.4 - Read level-appropriate texts with little support

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a level-appropriate text of 60 to 80 words aloud with little or no teacher support, using punctuation to guide their reading.
Read the same text silently and identify the main idea in one complete sentence.
Answer at least three factual questions about the text without referring back to the teacher for help.
Read a short paragraph to a partner, self-correcting when they stumble on a word.
Use pictures and headings to preview a text before reading it on their own.
