Indicator: B2.2.7.2.3 - Connect characters, ideas and information within a text

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the main characters in a level-appropriate text and state what each character does or says.
Connect ideas from different parts of a text to explain how events are linked (e.g., a character’s action leads to a result).
Link information given at the beginning of a text with information at the end to show how the text fits together.
Answer questions that require joining details from two or more sentences or paragraphs to construct meaning.
Work with a partner to explain how one part of a text helps them understand another part.
