Indicator: B2.1.4.1.1 - Identify characters in a story and relate them to real life situations

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Listen attentively to a story told with actions, gestures and facial expressions.
  2. Retell the main events of the story in their own words.
  3. Identify the characters in the story and state what each character did.
  4. Relate each character to a real life situation or person they know.
  5. Say whether they enjoyed the story and give a simple reason for their answer.

- Tell the story with appropriate actions, gestures, facial expressions, etc.
- Have learners retell the story and answer questions on it.
- Let learners say whether or not they have enjoyed the story and why.
- Put learners into groups to identify the characters and their actions and relate them to real life situations.
