Learning Objectives

Indicator: B1.3.1.1.1 - Narrate the stories of the birth of religious leaders.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the three major religious leaders whose birth stories are studied in Ghana (Jesus Christ, Prophet Muhammad, and the traditional/spiritual leaders of African Traditional Religion).
  2. Narrate the key events of the birth of Jesus Christ in simple sentences.
  3. Narrate the key events of the birth of Prophet Muhammad in simple sentences.
  4. Narrate a birth story of a traditional religious leader or priest from African Traditional Religion as told in their community.
  5. Dramatise or role-play the birth scenes of at least one religious leader with guidance from the teacher.
