Learning Objectives

Indicator: B1.3.4.1.1 - Narrate the stories of the birth of religious leaders

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Narrate the main events in the birth story of Jesus Christ as told in the Christian faith.
Narrate the main events in the birth story of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as told in the Islamic faith.
Describe at least one traditional belief about the birth of a religious or spiritual leader in African Traditional Religion (ATR).
Identify the similarities in the birth stories of religious leaders, such as the role of parents and the special nature of the child.
Role play a short scene from one of the birth stories to show their understanding of the events.
