Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.3.3.1.1 - Explain basic human needs and rights of self and others
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define human needs and human rights in their own simple words.
- Identify at least three basic human needs (food, shelter, clothing) and match them to examples in daily life.
- State at least three basic human rights (right to life, freedom of movement, personal liberty) and give a simple example of each.
- Recognise that all people, including themselves and their classmates, have the same needs and rights.
- Demonstrate care for others by describing one way they can help a friend or family member meet a need or enjoy a right.
