Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.6.1.1.1 - Read a variety of age - appropriate books and texts from print
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Choose an age-appropriate book or text from a classroom selection during library time.
- Read or “pretend read” a picture book or wordless book individually for at least 5 minutes.
- Read a short text aloud with a partner, taking turns and pointing to the words.
- Talk about one thing they saw or liked in the book they read.
- Show care for books by handling them properly and returning them to the correct place.
