Learning Objectives

Indicator: B1.5.5.1.1 - Identify adjectives and use them to describe self and other people

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify adjectives (describing words) in a simple passage about people.
  2. Explain that an adjective is a word that tells us more about a person, animal or thing.
  3. Use at least three adjectives to describe themselves in simple sentences.
  4. Write two or more parallel sentences to describe a friend or classmate using appropriate adjectives.
  5. Read aloud their descriptive sentences with confidence and correct pronunciation.
