Indicator: B1.5.4.1.2 - Use the present tense of verbs to express the present state of things or situations

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the present tense form of a verb used to describe the current state of a thing or situation
Describe the present state of objects, people and places using the present tense of the verb “to be” (is, am, are)
Answer questions about present states of things using complete sentences with the correct present tense verb
Use the present tense of other common verbs (has, have, feels, looks, seems) to express how things are right now
Write two or three sentences describing the present state of things in their classroom using present tense verbs correctly
