Learning Objectives

Indicator: B1.4.7.1.1 - Find, read and copy sentences from a given substitution tables

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the columns in a substitution table and explain what each column contains.
  2. Read aloud at least three different sentences formed from a substitution table with correct pronunciation and intonation.
  3. Copy at least five correct sentences from a substitution table neatly into their exercise books.
  4. Check their copied sentences against the table and correct any mistakes they find.
  5. Read out their sentences to the class with confidence during feedback time.

- With examples, guide learners to form oral sentences from the substitution table.
- Have learners write their sentences.
