Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.4.2.1.1 - Copy letters of the alphabet clearly
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the lines and spaces on a writing line (top line, middle dotted line, bottom line) and state their names.
- Trace and copy at least five lowercase letters (a, c, e, o, s) and five uppercase letters (A, C, E, O, S) correctly within the writing lines.
- Write the letters in the air, following the teacher’s demonstration, using the correct starting point and stroke direction.
- Check their own copied letters against the model and circle any that do not sit properly on the lines.
