Learning Objectives
Indicator: B1.2.9.1.2 - Recognise one hundred and twenty sight words including content words
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read aloud at least 20 previously learned sight words from a word card within 2 seconds of seeing each card.
- Identify and name at least 10 new sight words (content words) added during this lesson.
- Play the Lucky Dip game and correctly read the sight word they pick out.
- Use at least 5 sight words to make simple, meaningful sentences of their own.
- Echo-read a short simple text with the teacher, showing growing confidence and expression.
