Learning Objectives

Indicator: B1.2.9.1.1 - Read short and simple sentences at good pace

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read a short and simple sentence of 4 to 8 words at a steady, understandable pace without stopping at every word.
  2. Group words into natural phrases when reading aloud a simple sentence.
  3. Read a simple sentence with expression, matching their voice to the meaning of the words.
  4. Read in small groups, taking turns and listening politely to others, while keeping a good reading pace.
  5. Self-correct when they stumble on a word, then continue reading at a good pace.
