By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and name the three main parts of a story: the beginning, the middle, and the end.
Recall and describe what happened at the beginning, middle, and end of a simple narrative story.
Sequence events from a story into the correct order (first, next, last).
Draw or write a simple sentence to show what happened at each of the three story parts.
Work with a partner to sort story events into the correct structure.
