Indicator: B1.2.7.1.2 - Ask and answer factual and inferential and applicative questions about level-appropriate texts

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Read a level-appropriate text independently with minimal support from the teacher or peers.
  2. Answer factual questions that require them to find information directly stated in the text.
  3. Answer inferential questions that require them to read between the lines and use clues from the text.
  4. Ask their own factual and inferential questions about a text, using question starters such as who, what, where, when, why and how.
  5. Answer applicative questions that connect the text to their own lives and experiences.
