Learning Objectives

Indicator: B1.2.6.1.3 - Use words acquired through talk and reading in conversation

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Recall at least 8 familiar and high-frequency words from the topic “My Classroom” and use them correctly in short spoken sentences.
  2. Engage in a small-group conversation on a given topic, using at least 5 words acquired through previous talk and reading.
  3. Respond appropriately to peers’ questions during a conversation, using vocabulary from the lesson.
  4. Identify and circle words from a short classroom-related passage that they can use in their own speech.
  5. Demonstrate turn-taking and active listening during group conversations while using new and familiar words.
