Indicator: B1.2.1.1.1 - Handle books appropriately

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least two reasons why books must be kept neat and handled carefully.
  2. Demonstrate the correct way to hold a book, open its pages, and turn pages without damaging them.
  3. Identify the title, author, and illustrator on a book cover when asked.
  4. Suggest and follow at least two classroom rules for handling books properly.
  5. Role-play and model the correct handling of books for younger learners or classmates.
